Make something out of nothing

This is one of my journal pages. When I first started I just slapped on some left over paint in blobs.  Brown and some gooey blue. My daughter looked at me like I was crazy. I said to her don't worry it will be ok.  This is what came out of it.  Make something out of nothing.  It is a little like life you can always make something out of nothing.  I remember when I was a little girl and we did not have a lot of money at the time.  My mother came home from work and all that was in the fridge was a loaf of bread, peas, 1 egg and some cornstarch.  I looked at her like what are you going to do with that??? Ugh!  Well I will tell you we had some of the best cream pea over toast with grated egg on top. Yummmmm. I can remember how delicious it was.

You can make something out of nothing.

Ah, a great breakfast date and now this inspiration from you! Bliss.

I love how happy and positive and calming the journal is. It's been heavy my side of life the past couple of days, but your creation ( the house, the kids, the couple) speaks personally of a winding down of frazzles and happy days for me.

Thank you for the inspiration. It is true what they say, that you find yourself in places, and faces and...for me, in other folks beautiful work of art. Affirming.

Have a happy rest of the week. Blessings to you.
