Have you been pondering your life. Is it what you want? I know until recently I had been just going on with the motions of my daily routine until I suddenly started to ponder what it is that I truly want in life right this minute this time.  What makes me passionate?  Well you know I found that out for me. That was art.  I wanted to find a way to help people with my art.  I had lost it for so long and I realized this is my passion. I will never let it go again. It will be with me forever.

Think about it . What gives you passion in life. What makes you want to get up in the morning? Don't focus on what you don't want focus on what you do want. Find out what you want! And then ask for it!
Let me know what your passions are. I would love to hear them.

An Inspirational Video 1 - The Law Of Attraction

LAND THAT I LOVE

When I started this blog I told myself that I will not talk about anything Religious, Political or negative. So just to be clear this is not a political statement.
This picture shows you that no matter what is going on in this country. I love it! It is as simple as that. Whether it remains the best or the worst country. I will never want to leave it.  It is my home

This is my country. Land that I love.

Handmade Portraits: Black-eyed Suzie

I love this artists dolls. They are so fantastic.

Don't ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive and go do it.  Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.

Make something out of nothing

This is one of my journal pages. When I first started I just slapped on some left over paint in blobs.  Brown and some gooey blue. My daughter looked at me like I was crazy. I said to her don't worry it will be ok.  This is what came out of it.  Make something out of nothing.  It is a little like life you can always make something out of nothing.  I remember when I was a little girl and we did not have a lot of money at the time.  My mother came home from work and all that was in the fridge was a loaf of bread, peas, 1 egg and some cornstarch.  I looked at her like what are you going to do with that??? Ugh!  Well I will tell you we had some of the best cream pea over toast with grated egg on top. Yummmmm. I can remember how delicious it was.

You can make something out of nothing.

"Enthusiasm is one of the most powerful engines of success. When you do a thing, do it with all your mind. Put your whole soul to it. Stamp it with your own personality. Be active, be energetic, be enthusiastic and faithful, and you will accomplish your object. Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm."

Ralph Waldo Emerson

SEE THE MAGIC

This is a new piece I did for a circle journal. I told you I got a lot of stuff done on my vacation. I can not stop myself. All my free time that is all I want to do. I love it!!!!!

SEE THE MAGIC

There is magic in everything. If you look at it you will see it. Even when bad things happen. I know my mother would always tell me " There is a reason for this but you just don't know it yet, Someting good will come out of it ".  And you know, that is what happened everytime. There is always something good come out of something bad.  You don't believe it when it is happening but down the line you will see it. It is all in the way you look at things.

SEE THE MAGIC

You can make your own Magic!

Just believe!

"Each indecision brings its own delays and days are lost lamenting over lost days. What you can do or think you can do, begin it. For boldness has magic, power, and genius in it."

HOME FROM VACATION

I am home from vacation and I can tell you that I am so refreshed! It was great! Just relaxing on the beach and making Art when ever I wanted. Nelly and I got to spend a lot of much needed Mother - daughter time. Jake and Sam are a bunch of surfer dudes. I did not get any pictures from the beach because I was afraid to take my Canon because of the sand. I took it on the boat but that was very hairy also because the day we went the water was very choppy. Everything was soaked including me. I love it though. I need to get a camera that I can just pull out and take a good shot. If anyone knows of any small camera's let me know. I want a good zoom on it. And one that takes half decent pictures.

Here is some Art that was made when we were at the beach. I will post some pictures from vacation. I missed everyone!! I hope everyone had a great week.

This is a picture that I am doing for a swap journal. My very first one. I am very excited about it. They are a bunch of fabulous women that I met at Artfest!  This one is about dreams.   BUILDING YOUR CREATIVE DREAMS.  I am now building my creative dreams and just figuring out what I want to do with my life. It is exciting to see it come to fruition. I believe you create your own life. And you create your own dreams. We can do anything we want to do. We just have to dream it then take action!   Just do it!

ROAD TRIP!!!!!

Look at all the money. In Luray Caverns!

We went to Luray VA to see Isaac play baseball. He plays for the Covington Lumberjacks for the summer until he goes back to school.
It was quite an interesting trip. Beautiful countryside. There are alot of mountains.
On the way in the middle of nowhere was this Restaurant called Sonny's. It smoked its own BBQ and grew its own vegetables. There coleslaw was to die for . My grandson has a thing about rating the coleslaw from 1 to 10. No one has reached 10 yet. There is a local place in West Lawn PA that has a 9.5. I did not think we would find anything better but it was so fresh. The coleslaw as crispy. Yummmmmmmmmmm. Well Jake as usual had a talker on and he told the waitress that story and she had him come in the kitchen to meet the Chef. He thought that was pretty cool.

This is our moody preteen.

Our pretty boy (Not a moody teenager yet...)

OH THE GOODNESS

We then went to see Isaac play baseball. Both the boys got to be bat boys. They loved that. Jake stopped in the middle of the game and of coarse found the cute young girls to talk to. You know that is a big distraction for a 12 year old boy. Ohhhhh somebody help us! Hormones are raging. We only got to see Isaac for about 15 minutes and he was off on a bus to the next game. Oh to be a baseball player and on the road. I guess it is worth it since Isaac has the love for the game. Thats all that matters at this time. He is only 20. We are so proud of him. He is a hell of a baseball player and he made the Deans list at Franklin Pierce.

Jake flirting with the girls

Eveyone had to wear the hat even Isaacs proud mom.

This picture sums it all up "Small town baseball"

Isaac signed baseballs for Sam and Jake

Jake does not look inpressed.
He loves his Isaac.

Next day we headed to breakfast at a little place called Rainbow Hill. It was like being in another world. We were the only people there. It was like having breakfast in your own home. They were old hippies. He had a long white ponytail. They told us they moved there in 1971 and the were ready to retire. We found alot of goodies to take home.

While we were there we could not leave without seeing the Luray Caverns. This was unbelievable. The Natural Beauty of this place is unbelievable. It takes an hour to tour the Cave.  It contains a bey of stalactite and stalagmite formations. (Do I really sound like I know what I am saying, NOT REALLY) Gorgeous! Just look at these pictures.  They can not even show you the beauty of this place.

I went away for 3 days (Pictures coming soon) and I did not get to do any artwork. I go alittle crazy when this happens. So today I got to spend the day just painting. Not doing anything. It was great! This is what came out. I am always dreaming. This is a portrait journal my sister Heidi made for me for Christmas. Ahhhhh feels good to paint again!! My husband just left me alone in my art room. Thank you sweetie.

Learn from your Journal Pages.

My purpose of posting all these journal pages is because anyone who is just starting with your art should have art journals they are one way to experiment with all different techniques. Even bad art is good art. You learn by it. That is everything in life. You learn from your mistakes. I love painting in my journals! Paint away everyone!
