Circle Journal Page - Proverbs

New Circle Journal Page
Proverbs

This journal is for Bev's journal.  She had us make a journal page with pieces of Chinese newspaper.  I loved this.
For one thing I think the Chinese and Japanese lettering are the most beautiful lettering.
I have no idea what I put under my paint. It could say "A Man ate a car battery" and it still looks so beautiful.....

Have a great week!!

Go and visit Paint Party Friday!

Thinking about having another giveaway.... Stay tuned....

Wonderful, yep the asian scripts look good, I think it's like they are all tiny designs in their own right - lovely work :)

Gorgeous! No matter what it says. I did laugh at the idea that behind such a beautiful painting were some really silly words.

this is beautiful! And I agree!

I really love this piece,Heather. The blossoms are oriental in nature to go along with the Chinese script, too. Lovely! Where do you find a Chinese newspaper? I live the suburbs, so no news stands here. Would someplace like Barnes and Noble carry them?

Heather, this is a beautiful journal page, and i SO know what you mean about japanese lettering... when i was about 10 yrs old, i had found a japanese travel brochure somewhere and was so impressed with the characters, i copied the whole thing - like 25 pages.:-) My parents thought i was losing my mind, but i just thought the lettering was a work of art in itself. So i totally understand you. And your battery comment made me laugh... xoxo
