Say Hello to Happiness

I really think that you choose to be happy or you don't.  Things can make you sad and circumstances happen, but you can choose to dwell on it.
Or Just feel it and let it go.

I know at one time I thought " If I get this house or this car or  this job or wait until i loose the weight and then I will be happy" It never comes.  You are always chasing it. You get these things and you find out your still not happy.
You have to invite happiness in.
 It is inside you!
You choose it!
So oooo" Say Hello to Happiness"
It's in there. I know you can find it.
Choose it!

Don't forget to visit the people at Paint Party Friday!  They always make me happy!!!

Amen to that!! It's so true what you say and I still find myself doing it now - the whole 'my life will be complete if I just buy those shoes, coat, whatever'. Happiness is the here and now, curling up on the sofa with a dog (aka furry lump of unconditional love) snuggled on your lap, laughing with your husband, a brisk walk on a winter's day - all moments of bliss!

Oh, and your cute happy girl illustration is perfect!

What a perfect painting of a little girl who is very happy and she resembles you too. Awesome. I love what you said and it is so true. Happiness is inside of us. It's not good to dwell. Hmmm, I have to remember that. By the way happiness is also coming here on PPF. Have a wonderful weekend, love your little girl.

So true! My mom used to always tell me, "You find what you look for, girl."
I love this painting, she reminds me of Pippi Longstocking, basically the poster girl for finding happiness in everything.

So true, Heather!!! Your girl looks so happy and a bit sassy as well, and I like that a lot!! She reminds me a little bit of Pippi Longstocking, my childhood hero.
