Royal Wedding - TaDa!!!!

She is all set to go to the wedding.

I know I know I am a geek!!! I can't help myself. It is part of my Heritage. My maiden name is Lippincott. I am so excited!!! I am actually getting up at 4:00 am to watch the Royal Wedding. I also took a day off. Steve has been teasing me all day. What a poo head.

But anyway, What an exciting time for England.
You can say what you will about it!  There is a little fairy tale aspect in all this. It is most every girls dream to marry a prince.(I know I married mine) Its in all the story books.

I had to do a Journal Page just for the Royal Wedding.
Visit everyone at Paint Party Friday

Hello Grandma! I am a grandma, too and a mixed media artist. I did that for his mom's wedding! Your art is beautiful! I love it! Enjoy the wedding!

I think it is great Heather!. You aren't a geek, you are just happy for the couple. We need happy days after all the terrible things that are happening. You've done a great job and her eyes are very mysterious. Nice job. Happy PPF!

Hi Heather,
Love your journal page!
I didn't watch the wedding but have been watching some of it now on TV and the computer.
They make a lovely couple. Wishing them all the best!

you're definitely not a geek! It sure was a fab day to be British!! I'm loving how the pictures are all over Blogland tonight and everyone's story - including my own!

It was like a wedding to which the whole world was invited.

Heather, she is gorgeous and so is her hat. I got my hair cut today and the big topic of discussion was they hats the ladies were wearing.

Not a geek at all. Same here, I actually re-arrange some of my appts so that I could get back home on time for the royal wedding! And your painting is well done. Great Job! ;)

I love your lady - she would have fit in perfectly and had one of the better hats! It was beautiful and well worth watching! The crowds so respectful and behaved - I don't think that could happen here!
cheers, dana

I love this! It is just beautiful. As for the wedding, even though I say I am not into it and didn't get up at the crack of dawn I have to admit I watched a bit of the replay. Very lovely

Nice art work.
A really nice souvenir of the Royal Wedding.

If not for Fairytales.... a part of art's heart wouldn't be.

I love your journal page. I don't care for the royal family and didn't watch the wedding but can appreciate that many millions of folk did. Either way - your picture is fabulous!
