Did some journaling
In a bit of a funk. Lost my Mojo.....Lost my Muse....Creative Juices are not flowing. I would say that it is due to all the rain this week. So what did I do you ask???
Had a Sabika fundraiser.
And I was so pleased to be able to make a painting for it.
10% of the sales go to the Alzheimer's Association
I am an Original
Forget me Not.
Jamie was the winner....No it was not fixed!!
I got to meet my new Nephew Kye.
He is adorable.
His life is just beginning.
I love new beginnings!
Bought myself some flowers.
Put them in my Mother's Bud Vase.
Put me in a bit of a tizzie.
It is wonderful to have keepsakes like this that will remind me of my Mama.
Oh how I miss her.
Rainy Day Art with my neices Maddie and Gracey.
Xylie is in the other room drawing. She sometimes likes to be by herself.
Depends on the day. She has ADHD. She gets easily distracted.
This is what she drew....
After the girls went home I found this taped to my wall in the Music Room.
Needless to say it is going to stay there.
I love it!
I especially love the crown!
She is a very smart, talented and funny little girl.
Cleaned up my office. Went through my postcards.
So organized now.
Worked on some backgrounds
I also signed myself up to see Oprah's Tour in Sept and Stephanie Lee's Encaustic Class in NC at the Donna Downey Studio's. So excited about that. I have always wanted to work with all that gooey wax!!
So you see even if I lose my Mojo. I still surround myself with art.
I always know it will come back.
This too shall pass.
Also don't forget my Owls are in the May Issue of Somerset Studio's
I hope everyone got there copy!!!
See you next week!!!
Make yourself HAPPY!!!!!
I love this video and song....It makes me happy!!
Even if I knew that tomorrow the world would go to pieces, I would still plant my apple tree.

ReplyDelete"This too shall pass" is a quote that has helped me to gain perspective and hope in the past and is an important thing to remember.
