GROWING
(3.5 x 4.5 ft)
Everyday I am growing . Searching and learning.
I will never stop Growing for as long as I live.
The wheels keep turning and the branches and leaves keep growing.
Everyday is a new beginning and end.
I am forever grateful for my love in my life.
For my Art.
For my Family & Friends.
My Heart is full!
I am forever grateful for the people in my life!
I am so blessed.
And that includes you!!!
So Excited about my Owls in May Issue of Somerset Studio!!!
(The reason why I am standing like that is because both my sister(And she was taking the pic) and I are tall and I needed to get down so you didn't see my double chin!! LOL!)
Don't forget to get your copy!!!!
Thank you everyone! See you next week!!!
Let us be grateful to people who make us happy;

I feel the exact same way as you!! I love learning and growing and I too feel so blessed for the love..
ReplyDeleteYour owls are awesome in the magazine!! My friends and my daughter stand on a chair to take a photo from above...it's amazing as the chins are completely hidden that way!
Wonderful artwork this week and hugs to you and your adorable companion!!
Giggles
Big Lu is a sweetheart! Congrats on your owls being published in the magazine-that's fab! This pieces this week is so vibrant I love all the colours. I've not been by for a while but your work seems unmistakeably you but somehow different-this seems more intricate a background than I remember seeing before I think or maybe it's just been so long since I visited I can't remember properly! Either way it's beautiful!

ReplyDeleteThis is such a wonderful post. First I was looking at your photo and wondering why you were standing like that. Then your reason. I was cracking up. You are so beautiful that even if you did have a double chin no one would even notice. Now for your art. Can I say OMG???? The entire piece is outstanding. My eye never stops moving from place to place. The colors the movement all so wonderful. Just like you.

:))) Congratulations, Heather!! Such a funny story about the photo..you made me giggle. And, that painting..WOW!! It must be thrilling to work that large.
ReplyDeleteA of all, your work is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteNumber B, I can so relate about the double chin business. If my chin looks good in a photo, I consider the photo perfect, even if everyone else is mid-blink, blurry, and/or possessed by photo demons. Sad but 100% true.
Major congrats on being published! That is the best feeling in the world, possibly even ahead of a good chin photo! ;)
Your painting is beautiful and wonderful how you relate your art to your own experiences! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteHey Heather,
ReplyDeleteyou had me laughing when you explained the reason for the pose. Your photo turned out lovely and Big Lu is just precious! I'll need to remember the trick when my daughter takes a pic of me next time, might turn out passable : ) Adore your owls and a big congrats on the Somerset issue.
