Your only obligation in life is to be true to yourself
~Richard Bach~
This is one of my circle journal entries. I am doing it again this year so you should be seeing one of my entries every month.
This was a difficult piece for me. I don't know if it was because it was round. Beth (the person that this circle journal belongs to) sent pieces of cloth that she is going to put in a hoop. So literally this is going to be a circle journal. She said when it is finished she will be putting them on the wall. I can't wait to see. I think it is a great idea but for some reason I was stumped on what I wanted to do??? So this is what I came up with.
Sorry I did not get to everyone last week! I tried my best but I was having problems with leaving comments!
Just want to remind everyone that the week of August 22nd I will be the Guest Curator on Jenny Doh's Cresendoh. And also will have my Art Saves story. So don't forget to check it out and leave a comment!!!
Hope all you lovelies have a wonderful week!!!
This is really great. I love it! I'm working with cloth right now, making my first prayer flags. I love what you did with your piece. Happy PPF! Have a great weekend.

ReplyDeleteI think you did a great job on that circle journal. Isn't it funny how something as simple as changing your format can be so challenging?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Heather! It will look fabulous mounted and on display.
ReplyDeleteperfect quote!!! I live by this every day!!!! wonderful work....
ReplyDeletebeautiful piece and what a wonderful quote, not an easy thing to do.
ReplyDeleteHeather, your work is so beautiful. I love the way you use little bits of white in each thing you do. It is sort of your signature and it is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteCircles are really hard to work with (at least for me ;)) something about composing, just throws me off! Anyway; YOUR circle is fabulous, I love the way you placed everything so it was symmetrical without being TOO symmetrical...hope that makes some kind of sense :)
ReplyDeleteHappy PPF!
Stephanie
I would have difficulties with a round shapr, I think. Yours turned out great, I like it a lot.
ReplyDeleteThis is going to look fantastic on the circle journal. Circles are hard I think. I always feel so confined with a circle. You did a great job :)
