New Circle Journal - PPF

(Cover)

This year my theme for my Circle Journal is Things with Wings.  Very excited about this one.   I never get tired of drawing or painting things with wings.  Angels, Butterflies, Birds.  All things beautiful have wings.  Even Gargoyles, Flies, Anything with Wings. ((Maybe Bats not soooo much but some people like them.))

Something about flying is so serene and calming to me.

I wish I could fly.

I have flying dreams all the time.

Do any of you have flying dreams?

And do you know what they mean?

If you do please tell me.

I need some dream interpretation

  1. What a wonderful winged post :)

I love the heart shape, and I agree about beautiful things having wings... even bats! hee hee

I also have flying dreams... the initial kick-off from the ground is my favorite part - it feels so real :) I'd love to know what it means too... I know in my dreams it makes me feel invincible, like I'm capable of anything!

  2. I love your pages Heather. How fun, having a journal specifically for things with wings. Makes me want to start a journal like that. I do have dreams of flying and have even flown an airplane in my dreams. So weird to dream about flying. I can't explain it either. Just type a search for "dreams meanings" and I'm sure something will come up. All dreams mean something. Take care, Happy PPF and 4th of July.

  3. Love your flying picture, I often dream tht I can fly, but am still connected to the earth, I have to push off with one leg, fly a bit, push off again and so on. It's always such a lovely feeling! Valerie

  7. what lovely journal pages! I love the colours you've used and I agree with you about flying - I would love to be able to fly (not so much in an aeorplane which nowadays just panics me a little!) but to soar like a bird would be something else!

  12. lovely to see your winged arts.
I have not flown very much in my dreams.... my sense is that there can be many meanings. the first thing I might consider is how do you feel when you are flying.

  21. Heather I love the idea of your things with wings journal - so many things have wings.
The first time I woke from a flying dream I realised I had had many of them, but in this particular one I believed it was my last flight and I was so upset and it took literally minutes for me to realise it was my dream world and I never had really flown in real life.
My flight is actually more of a levitation and I'm happy to say that about a month ago I dreamt that I was beginning to learn how to do it again. I only got a few inches of the ground, but I'm so happy to be airbourne again! I think it reflects a growing freedom in my life.
