Sunday Sketches


I am trying to sketch before I go to bed. I think that is just a great way to wind down for the day.  I was thinking of Flora Bowley and I loved her paint clothes she had on when I took her workshop She was so cute. She had this great blue shirt and cutoff pants and brown boots. (with lots of paint on them.)So this was a little sketch I did as a Ode to Flora Bowley.  Not quite, but it is a little Flora Bowleyish. See you guys next week! Come visit!

    What great inspiration for this sketch - I saw some photos on Nelly's blog and it looks like the class was LOTS of fun... such beautiful creations!

    Hi Heather! So nice to meet you! So glad that you joined Sunday sketches and I got a chance to see your blog, I REALLY enjoyed reading your posts. I loved your Thanksgiving post, we don't celebrate that here in Oz but I wish we did, it looks very yummy and you have such a cosy house! I also really enjoyed reading about your trip to all those wonderful shops, what a beautiful place you live!! And how exciting to see your art on display in a shop! :0)

    I like her pose. fun, to sketch before bed. i have done that, too! lots of eraser on my pillow, though! ha ha ha
