I know they tried to remake this movie. But it just isn't possible. You got to see this original. Sorry the movie is late tonight but I was out with the girls.
Just check out the fashion.  I wish we would dress like this today. Everyone so glamorous.  Great movie!

RED IS MY FAVORITE COLOR

RED

Red is my favorite color. I have tried and tried to get away from red. But I can't do it! You know change it up. Not have red in my color scheme or a painting. But no matter what, I am always draw to red. I LOVE RED!!!!!!!

I have a very odd relationship with red. Like I don't like red cars or red houses or red walls. Just accents of red.

I want to eat RED. It is gorgeous!

I know weird. But true.

Soooooo when one of the people in my circle journal made her theme red I was excited.  I LOVE RED!

Art Supply Cabinet Makeover

My husband Steve is a contractor. He was working at a house and they told him he could have anything he wanted out of the house so he brought home this not so attractive brown boring cabinet. He asked if I wanted it for my art room. And I said sure I think I can do something with that. So this is what I came up with. All I know is it is better then it use to be. This is the progression of it. It was a slow process.

I almost forgot movie night! I was having dinner with my girls. This is one of my favorite movies! This was the first time I saw Sidney Poiter. What a great man. This is the last scene. You got to see this one if you have never seen it. Its about a man who came an built a church for the nuns. They not only got a church built but they also learned some lessons of there own. Wonderful Movie.

Life is nothing without love.

I don't mean that in a man and women love. Although that is nice. I mean in just loving a child, the color red, birds, books, art, the circus, ponies, walking, rain, peaches ..... you know what I mean.  Anything.  Life is nothing without love. I hate to be such a Pollyanna, but I am. My mom should have named me Pollyanna. Because I will always be a Pollyanna. To all the Pollyanna's in the world. I LOVE YOU!

Remember your goals. Everyday do something little, dosen't have to be big. And tell yourself I will persevere. I will never give up. I will stay steadfast in purpose. And someday I will be at my goal just in time to make a new goal. And so on and so on.
Life goes on and new goals are meet.  Everyday be steadfast in purpose.  Persevere.

Bittersweet Memories

Definition of Bittersweet:  pleasant but tinged with sadness

There are many things in life that are pleasant to think about but then it brings a bit of sadness to you because those people are not with you anymore. You have to learn to hold onto them. Feel the bittersweet. Never forget them.

This is a another great movie that most people forget. Arsenic and Old Lace. It was one of my favorite movies growing up. About 2 Old ladies (Cary Grants Aunts) poisoning men. Just a lot of madcap. You just got to rent it. Cary Grant is one of the best comedians ever! And so tall dark and handsome. Oo La La. What a good looker.

Thoughts

We cannot control the parade of negative thoughts marching through our minds. But we can choose which ones we will give our attention to.  Picture your thoughts as people passing by the front of your home.  Just because they're walking by doesn't mean you have to invite them in.
